Robert Noel Williams, 85, of Anderson, passed away March 12, 2018, at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
He was born July 22, 1932, in Sullivan, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors and from K Mart.
He was a member of Main Street Church of God, First Baptist Church and United Auto Workers Local 662. He loved watching the birds, camping, fishing, and making crafts.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Debra (Alfred) McCarty; son, Rusty Lee (Barbara Ann) Williams; grandchildren, Windy (Jeffery) Murphy, Melissa (Rodney) McIlwain, John McCarty, Jeremy McCarty, Jason McCarty, and Ryan Lee Williams; siblings, Harry (Delores) Williams, Larry Williams, Barbara (Lee) Eldridge, and Marilyn Purciful; in-laws, Norm and Judy Eiler; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nondas Imogene Williams; mother, Ruby Williams; father, Orian Williams; and his brother, Charles Williams.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the funeral home, with Dr. Art Jaggard and Pastor Don Billey officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
