Rosemary McVey, 84, of Anderson, passed away Feb. 26, 2017, in Anderson. She was born June 9, 1932, in Shelbyville and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a retired owner/operator of St. John's Medical Supply. Previously she was a Registered Nurse.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and past member of the American Cancer Society.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and Rosemary loved to play cards, painting, golfing and bowling.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Michael (Gina) McVey of Anderson; daughter, Kelley (Scott Kruger) McVey of Anderson; brother, Thomas (Anne) Lynch of Ohio; grandchildren Hollie Bailey, Michael McVey, Gabriana McVey and Xendria McVey; and a great-grandchild, Zadia Bailey. Rosemary was also survived by her special friends, Don and Kay Vanderluit, Pat McGhee, Barbara Greenwalt and Jean Miller.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Lynch; father, James Lynch; husband, Richard McVey; sister, Patricia (Ray) Harrell; and two brothers, James (Bonnie)and John (Arlene) Lynch.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 6, 2017, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Anderson, Indiana.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Msgr. Sell officiating.
Entombment will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Cancer Society.
