Ryan H. Warner

Ryan Howard Warner of Anderson, passed away on June 3, 2019.
He was born June 1, 1993, in Kokomo, to Steve and Lynn Warner.
For all those who knew Ryan, the news of his death does not seem possible at the young age of 26. Ryan's contagious laugh, fearlessness, sense of adventure, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved are just a few of his amazing qualities. He lived life to the fullest, never met a stranger, and could somehow turn any ordinary event into a lasting memory. Ryan never hesitated to lend a helping hand, even if it meant multiple hours of physical labor.
Ryan found joy in an inspiring number of activities. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed to fish, hunt, hike, boat, ski, wake board, and snow board. He loved hands on projects, woodworking, stone carving, and watching documentaries. Wrestling was a passion throughout middle school and high school, and Ryan served as one of Highland/Anderson's team captains during his senior season. After high school, Ryan attended Purdue University, where he became a proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He graduated with a degree in construction management in 2016. Ryan was working on the construction of a power plant in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, for Kiewit Industrial Corp.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Steve and Lynn Warner of Anderson; sister, Rachel and her fiancé, Josh Valenti of Ferndale, Michigan; grandmother, Annette Warner of St. Cloud, Minnesota; uncle, Allen (Becky) Warner of Tuscola, Texas; uncle, Tony Warner Jr. of St. Cloud, Minnesota. He also has two cousins from St. Cloud, Minnesota, Heather and Shane Warner; and two cousins in Tuscola, Texas, Teresa (Tony) Clark and Eric Starbuck.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony Warner Sr., and Ted and Betty Szymczyk; and his uncle, Ted Szymczyk Jr., all of South Bend.

We are in disbelief. We were enriched by having Ryan as neighbor - hanging out with J-M during his elementary years. I cannot fathom your loss. May Our Lord Jesus give hope and comfort now and in the days ahead.

I am so saddened to hear about this awesome young mans death. He was a great kid with an awesome personality. He was so good to my son as he was coming up through wrestling at Highland. I have not and will not ever forget you because of your kindness. RIP Ryan.
