Scott Ralph Kemper, 55, Tampa, Fla., lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, in Pasco County, Tampa, Fla.
Scott was born Oct. 20, 1961, in Anderson, Ind. He graduated from Anderson High School where he lettered in varsity wrestling and varsity football, and attended IUPUI.
He is survived by his wife, Karen of Tampa, Fla.; his parents, Victor R. and Maryalice Brown Kemper, Walsenburg, Colo., formerly of Anderson; and his aunt, Donna Joan Girton of Sarasota, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, who were longtime residents of Anderson, Ralph L. and Alice Brown; his aunts, Betty Hunter, Townsend, Tenn., and Nancy McDuffee of Frankton, Ind.
Scott was well known in the Tampa area by motorcycle enthusiasts for his motorcycle skills and expertise. You give him a box of motorcycle parts and he would build you a masterpiece. He was a sensitive, kind and all around great guy and mentor to many.
Scott will be sadly missed by his family and many, many friends.
Several memorials celebrating his life will be held at a later date. One will be held March 5 in Tampa, Fla.
