Shirley D. Imel, 59, of Anderson, passed away March 24, 2017, at I.U. Health/Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
She was born on March 18, 1958, in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Anderson. She was a homemaker.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Mandy (Tremayne Sr.) Brown of Anderson; two sons, Jerry (Elizabeth) Imel of Yorktown and Nicholas Imel of Anderson; parents, Charles (Barbara) Gustin of Anderson; brother, Terry Gustin of Anderson; sister, Deborah (David) Nelles of Brooksville, Fla.; sister, Nancy (companion, Lonny Hook) O'Bryant of Anderson; brother, Steve (Donna) Imel of Chesterfield; brother, Ted McCallister of Anderson; sister, Stephanie (Matthew III) Dunn of Burlington, Ky.; sister, Roxsanne (Brent) Ashby of Arcadia; sister, Michelle Perkins of Olive Branch, Miss.; brother, John (Diane) Imel of Pendleton; sister, Rebecca (Robb) Beard of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren, Selena Brown, Tremayne Brown Jr., Taliyah Brown, Sarah Imel, Alice Imel, and Henry Imel; great-grandson soon to be expected; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Imel; brother, Jerry Gustin; sister, Debbie Folk; and brother, William McCallister.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Wooden officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
