Steven Ginder, 65, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away July 11, 2017, at his residence. He was born on June 7, 1952, in Anderson.
Steven graduated from Pendleton High School, class of 1971.
He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War.
He retired from General Motors Corporation, where he worked in production.
He attended Socastee Community Church in Myrtle Beach.
Steven is survived by his father, Willis "Bud" (Anita) Ginder, of Anderson; sister, Terri (Tony) Stuart, of Muncie; stepfather, Robert Conrad, of Anderson; niece Amber (Tracy) Wheat of Muncie; stepsisters Cheryl (Doug) Mitchell, of Anderson, and Cindy (Steve) Meuser, of Frankfort, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Conrad; his paternal grandparents, Herman and Clara Ginder; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Frances Smith; his fiancée, Connie Whitley; and his fur baby Dueley.
Military graveside services will be conducted by U.S. Air Force and the Daleville American Legion.
Burial will take place in Willowcrest Park.
