Stewart "Stew" Joseph Harrington, 30, passed away March 4, 2018, in Indianapolis.
He was born March 2, 1988, in Bremerton, Washington, the son of Todd and Jana (Orr) Harrington.
He was the general manager of Shadeland Avenue Red Lobster.
He was involved in Boy Scouts and Little League baseball as a youth and played drums and bass in the Highland High School marching and jazz bands.
He especially loved animals and enjoyed hiking, camping, attending concerts and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Jonathan Harrington; sister, Jennifer (Jordan) Bontrager, all of Westfield; two nephews, Jacob and Jonathan; special girlfriend, Lesley Hendrickson; paternal grandparents, David and Linda Harrington and Tom and June Swan all of Anderson; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Rex McCracken, Jeff and Dottie Orr, Kris and Shane Bowen, Tracy and Michael Pahls; cousins, JorD'an Orr (Jade) Orr, Sarah and Laura Bowen, Lily Renfro and Abbi Pahls.
Stew was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Juanita and Joseph Orr.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, with the Rev. Dr. Michael J. Pahls officiating. Burial will follow in Cicero Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Indy Humane Society in Stew's name.
