Theda J. Conway, 92, passed away Jan. 5, 2018, after a brief illness.
She was born March 25, 1925, in Russell County, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson for many years before moving to Jamestown, Kentucky, in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband. Howard Conway; parents, Pascal and Cressie Neathery; five brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and a special sister-in-law, Sue Neathery. She had a special niece that was like her own daughter, Tamara (Cook) Gephardt along with her great-nephew, Grant Cook, and great-niece, Courtney (Cook) Todd.
Theda had a special love of children resulting in jobs where she could spend time around them. She worked for several years at the Anderson Young Ballet Theatre Academy and also in food service at Valley Grove Elementary School. Theda enjoyed keeping busy and worked well into her eighties at Yardbird Metal in Jamestown.
