Tracy Allen, 46, entered into his eternal rest on Nov. 11, 2017. He passed away after an extended illness at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
Tracy was born Jan. 7, 1971, in Anderson, to George Allen Sr. and the late Mother Luejenia Allen.
Tracy never married, but he had a special friend, Constance White. He also remained close friends with his children's mothers, Ann Strohaker, Byvonda Hendrix, Latoya Negron, and Danielle Pearson. Tracy also maintained and shared a continued friendship with Tameka Barclay and Donna Parks.
Tracy had gifted hands. He blessed many people with his many talents. He bought and rebuilt cars as a hobby. He also enjoyed listening to music and entertaining family and friends.
Tracy attended Faith Tabernacle Church in Anderson, where his twin brother, Travis Allen, is the pastor.
He leaves to cherish his memory, eight children, India Allen, Asia Hendrix, Christopher Allen, Autumn Allen, Deonte' Strohaker, Bryce Negron, Arnez Dixon, and Shamiya Allen; seven brothers, Vernon Jones, George Allen Jr., Pastor Travis (Sheriene) Allen, Clifton Allen, Kevin Allen, Andrez (Joya) Allen, and Terrance Allen; seven sisters, Thelma Jones, Rosie (Eddie) Davis, Michele (James) Redding, Nicole (Henry) Loyd, Catina Allen, and April Allen; Nine grandchildren: Christopher Allen Jr., Channing Allen, Malichi Allen, Tre'on White, Avalynn Allen, Semaj Allen, Rondrieir Fairer, Marasia Brooks, and Kyri'yah Hendrix; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tracy also had a very special cousin and several close friends that were like brothers to him, Walter Davis, Dennis Richardson, Darryl McCloud, "T" Lee, "and Zebby" Coleman. He also considered Stacy Newsom as the sister that he never had.
Tracy was preceded in death by his mother, Luejenia Allen; grandparents, Deacon Paul Hayes and Mother Luevera Hayes; sister, Latina Clay-Jones; and cousin, Jeffrey Darnell Wright.
Service will be held Noon Friday at Glazebrooks Funeral Servcies, 2822 Nichol Ave., Anderson, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon prior to service.
