Vance R. Justice, 77, of Anderson, passed away March 4, 2018, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
He was born Aug. 20, 1940, in Anderson, where he resided all of his life.
He served his country in the United States Army for four years.
He then was employed by General Motors, and retired after 38 years of service.
He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, hunting, gardening, but most importantly he loved to spend time playing with his grandchildren.
Vance is survived by his loving spouse of 53 years, Patricia (Leslie) Justice; son, Sam (Sabrina) Justice; grandchildren, Tyler Justice and Audrianna Justice. Also surviving are his sisters, JoAnn Richey and Evelyn Schenlaub; brother and sister-in-law, Sam (Marsha) Leslie and Brenda (Tom) Huston; several nieces and nephews; and his four-pawed friend, Honey.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Justice; parents, Guy and Juanita Justice; nine sisters; two brothers; brother-in-law, Paul Leslie; and sister-in-law, Wanda Ancil.
Per his wishes, a private visitation and graveside service will be held at a later date.
