So sorry to hear of her passing. She lived a long and happy life. She was such a sweet person. She was a good friend to my mother Ruth Hauck who dies in 1996. They worked together doing things as Park Place Church. She also was my daughters teach at Park Place.
May God bless you in your time of grief,
Christa Jane

Velma was one of my favorite people at Park Place Church. She had a beautiful way of expressing her gratitude even for the smallest blessings. She reminded me of the importance of being grateful to the Lord for all His goodness to us. I will miss her.

When my husband Tim and I joined the church many times we would sit near Velma. We travel a lot so our attendance is sporadic but Velma ALWAYS remembered us and made us welcomed every time! She was a dear sweet angel we looked forward to meeting up with and she made us feel loved! Sending our sincere condolenceces to the family and hugging all of you with prayers. Tim& Melinda Pierce
