Virginia Blakely, 90, of Pendleton, passed away on Feb. 15, 2018, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Anderson.
She was the director of the Anderson LPN School and active in several health related organizations.
Virginia is survived by her children, Ann Blakely (Jack) Highbaugh, Sue Blakely, and Phil Blakely; siblings, Dorothy Weed and Raymond Jack Bright; grandchildren, Charla Highbaugh and Justin Little; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Ada Bright; and husband, Herschel Blakely.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Gettinger officiating.
