Wanda J.'s Story
Wanda J. "Nita" (Phillips) King passed away at home Jan. 22, 2018, after an extended illness.
She was born in Mayland, Tennessee, the daughter of Leo and Cecil (Jones) Phillips.
She worked in food service at Anderson College for 10 years. She was a member of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Paul) Klungness of Markleville; sister, Bonnie Boyd of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. "Crutch" King; her parents; her daughter, Robin King; three siblings, Pauline Roberts, Billy Ray Phillips and Edna Vaughn.
Memorial/Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Carroll Cullipher of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
