Wanda's Story

Wanda Louise Odom, 90, of Alexandria, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Brookside Haven Care Center, Muncie, after an extended illness.
Wanda was born July 24, 1927, in Summitville, the daughter of Elsie and Julia (Morgan) McCune. She graduated from Summitville High School.
Wanda was retired from Delco Remy, Anderson.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin Jordan and Gary Jordan; stepson, Don (Linda) Odom; stepdaughters, Barbra Allen, Donna Schott, Jamie Helms and Linda Hysong.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Jordan; her second husband, James Odom; daughter, Linda Jordan; son, David Jordan; stepdaughter, Anita Graham; and grandson, Cody Jordan.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Whetsel Funeral Service with Bud Whetsel officiating. Burial will follow in Vinson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
