William T. "Terry" Schlabach, 73, Anderson, passed away on Nov. 22, 2017, at his residence. He was born on Dec. 9, 1943 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life.
He served his country in the Navy, and he retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Plant 20.
He once belonged to the Muncie Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and a booster for the Madison Heights Band of Pirates. He collected coins, pens, enjoyed going to the casino and going out to eat, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
William is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Poer) Schlabach; daughters, Paula (Wooten) Collier and Michelle "Shelly" Wooten; grandsons, Jason Goodwin, Douglas Goodwin and Quade Wooten; great-granddaughter, Magnolia Goodwin; close cousins, Edward (Margaret) Combs and Lolita (Combs) Abbott; siblings, Charles (Gloria) Ross and Susie (Carl) (Ross) Ashby; family members, Robert Wooten and Theresa Chambers; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Ernest Schlabach; mother, Madonna Ross; twin sons, Barry Alan Schlabach and William Terryl Schlabach Jr.; and brothers, Mike Schlabach and Mark Schlabach.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Rick Vale officiating.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
