Alberta's Story

Alberta L. (Beckley) Hutton, 91, passed away peacefully Feb. 12, 2017, at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield surrounded by lots of love.
She was born on Dec. 11, 1925, in Fortville. She married Harold E. Hutton on Oct. 18, 1958, and they were married happily for 56 years.
She was a homemaker. Her whole world was her family. Alberta was an amazing, selfless woman who constantly sacrificed her own comforts for others. She had a sweet, kind, giving soul. She touched many lives.
Alberta is survived by her six sons, Larry, Mark, Roger, Keith, Mike, and James "Jimmy"; two daughters, Bonnie Kaye and Aprile; grandchildren, Bonita, Keith, Larry "Bub", Kevin, Brady, Melissa, Dylan, Matthew, Brian, Michael, Shauna, Brady, Kristina, Rickie, and Allison; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Harold; father, Clarence; mother, Ruby; four brothers, John, James, Hollis, and Bob; three sisters, Catherine, Rosemary, and Betty; and two grandsons, Jordan Michael Hutton and Jack Cummings.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary McManus officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
