Anthony "Tony" Scott, 27, Alexandria, went home to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017.
He was born on Nov. 2, 1989, in Anderson to Jimmie and Jill (Koob) Scott and resided in the Alexandria area all of his life.
He was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School, Class of 2008. He had been employed at O'Neal Steel in Lawrence. Tony attended the Itown Church in Indianapolis.
He enjoyed firearms, his car and his motorcycle. Tony had a way with small children and they dearly loved him. He enjoyed just "hangin' out" with his friends. Family time was very important to Tony, especially the time he spent with his grandparents.
Survivors are his mother, Jill Scott, Alexandria; father, Jimmie Scott, Alexandria; sister, Jessica (Daniel) Ross, Indianapolis; two brothers, Travis Scott, Elwood, and Benjamin Scott, Alexandria; maternal granparents, Martin and Donna Koob, Alexandria; aunt, Joni (Steve) Craig, Middletown; uncle, Terry Scott, Sparta, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews and cousins
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Mildred Scott.
Services honoring Tony's life and legacy will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1,in the Christian Congregation Church, 11015 N. 300E, Alexandria, with Pastor Jerry Young officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends and family are invited to visitation at the church on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. prior to the services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis with envelopes available at the visitation and service.
