Arlene Faulkenberg, 88, of Anderson, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Anderson to the late, Russell and Mary (Russell) Shaul. She attended Anderson High School before being a homemaker.
Arlene attended Lone Oak Wesleyan Church. She was adventurous in her younger years but was always fun loving. She enjoyed playing Euchre and Farkle, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Sue Tarvin) Pruitt, David (Polly) Pruitt, and Susan (Tim) Rogers; brothers, Melvin and Jerry Shaul; grandchildren, Terry (Amber Layne) Pruitt, Jr., Glenn Pruitt, Jamie (Nancy DeGraff) Pruitt, Kim (Eddie) O'Dell, Heidi (Nick Ooley) Yurack, Dean (Amber) Pruitt, Kevin (Tracy) Rogers, and Clark (Melissa Slaven) Rogers; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jack" Faulkenberg; brothers, Kenneth & Duane Shaul; sister, Marilyn Denman; grandson, Dyke Pruitt; and nephew, Russ Denman.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor John Hackney officiating. Burial will be in Grove Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and an hour prior to the services.
