Bessie Brumfield, 71, of Daleville, passed away, June 24, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson.
She was born July 9, 1945, in Booneville, Kentucky, and resided most of her life in the Anderson/Daleville area.
Bessie graduated from Daleville High School.
She previously worked at Delco Remy, and had been a waitress at various places in Madison County.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and was a breast cancer survivor, diagnosed on May 10, 1994. Bessie loved to be around people and loved her family and pets dearly.
Bessie is survived by her husband, William Brumfield, of Daleville; daughter, Barbara K. Hall, of Anderson; grandson, Tye Robert (Jamie) Shelton, of Muncie; sisters, Mary Rose Little and Elsie Hounshell. She also was survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Noble; father, Howard Noble; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at the funeral home, with Bob Bell officiating.
Entombment will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
