Bruce B. Hanson, 63, of Middletown, passed away on Feb. 12, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 15, 1953. He attended Highland High School and graduated in 1972 from Shenandoah High School. He has been a resident of Middletown most of his life. He had several jobs over the course of his life including working for General Motors and O'Reilly Auto Parts.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on classic cars. He also loved to ride his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Williams; grandmother, Mildred Fleming; aunt and uncle, Marilyn and Robert Campbell; and cousin, Michael Campbell.
He is survived by his "fur baby" beagle, Katie; father, Jack Williams; sister, Jana Kemper (Scott); nieces, Megan Williams (Tyler), and Christy Armington; cousins, Patricia Whittle (Adam), and Scott Campbell (Kristy); along with so many other friends and loved ones.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to John Moore and Roger Taylor for being such wonderful friends to Bruce.
A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
