Carol A. (Vetor) Hendrick, 77, Summitville, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on March 11, 1940, in Summitville, to Charles and Nettie (Cox) Vetor and had lived in Summitville most of her lifetime. She attended Fairmount High School.
Carol was a member of Summitville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, craft making and caring for her family.
Survivors include husband, J.C. Hendrick (married June 18, 1955); daughter, Lorinda (Randy) Rubendall, Summitville; three sons, Anthony "Tony" (Veronica) Hendrick, Fairmount, Roger (Sue) Hendrick, Fairmount, and David Hendrick, Summitville; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell (Helen) Vetor, Fairmount and Delbert (Bunny) Vetor, Bourbon; sister, Phoebe (Russell) Wilson, Portage; and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; 10 brothers; two great-grandchildren; and a grandson-in-law, Jacob Key.
Services honoring Carol's life and legacy will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017, in the Owens-Noffze funeral Home, 1009 W. Walnut St., Summitville, with the Rev. Dennis Roberts and Pastor Alex Beane officiating. Interment will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery in Summitville.
Friends may call at the Owens-Noffze Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
