Christopher "Chris"'s Story

Text size

Christopher B. "Chris" Lee, 46, of Martinsville and formerly of Anderson, unexpectedly passed from this life, on Aug. 11, 2017, at his home. He was born on July 27, 1971, in Anderson.
Chris graduated high school in 1989 from Oneida Baptist School in London, Kentucky. He later attended Morehead State College in Morehead, Kentucky, and began working for Rolls-Royce in 2000, where he also met the love of his life, Linda; to whom he was united in marriage on Sept. 14, 2007.
An avid music lover, Chris was a proud and talented guitar player. He enjoyed reading, martial arts and most of all, ripping through the wind on his Screaming Eagle Fat Bob Harley Davidson. Known as a ray of sunshine, Chris had a huge heart. He gave the best hugs, could make just about anyone laugh and often included a music note and evil smiley face on his notes.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda (Wilcox) Lee of Martinsville; father, Jack R. Lee, Sr. (stepmother, Linda) of Michigan; mother, Edna Feight (stepfather, Bob) of Anderson; stepdaughter, Lindsey Shepherd (husband, John) of Martinsville; siblings, Roger Horton, Jack R. Lee, Jr., Tammy Crum (husband, David) and stepsister, Carrie Feight-Sidwell, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Jack, Jacee and Aubrie Shepherd, Charity and Trinity Colmore; several adored nieces and nephews; and beloved fur babies, Cosmo and Nim.
Friends and family may visit from noon until the time of the Celebration of Life Service held at 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia.
Burial will take place in Brooklyn Cemetery, where he will be granted his final rights and lead the funeral procession with his Last Harley Ride on the Tombstone Hearse.
