Daniel Lee Bockover, 55, of Frankton, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was born Nov. 25, 1961, in Anderson, the son of Daniel and Nila Roberta (Utt) Bockover.
On Oct. 25, 1980, he married the love of his life, Vanessa (Jennings) Bockover and they shared more than 36 years of marriage.
Dan was currently a software service technician with Stanley Security in Noblesville. He served the community of Frankton for several years as a Reserve Officer for the Frankton Police Department. He attended White River Christian Church in Noblesville. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and camping.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Bockover; mother, Roberta Bockover; two sons, Patrick (Samantha) Bockover and Andrew (Melanie) Bockover; brother, Jeff (Sandra) Bockover; aunt, Betty (Jim) Marshall; uncle, Archie McLemore; father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Jean Jennings; many close friend; and loving extended family.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel H. Bockover; uncle, Bill Bockover; and an aunt, Edwina McLemore.
A memorial service to celebrate Dan's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating.
Family visitation will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
