David Robert Matyas, 42, of Anderson, passed away on July 3, 2017, at his residence in Anderson.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1974, in Anderson, and resided most of his life in Redmond, Washington.
David graduated from Central Washington University with an associate degree.
He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
David enjoyed aviation photography, outdoor cooking and trying new foods.
David is survived by his parents, Steven and Beckie Matyas of Anderson; twin daughters, Audrey Matyas and Emily Matyas, and their mother, Melissa of Seattle, Wash.; three brothers, Michael (Cherie) Matyas of Monroe, Wash., Greg (Karen) Matyas, and Jeff (Allison) Matyas of Kent, Wash.; aunt and uncle, Steve and Barbara Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edward and Bettie Gritter.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cremation will take place and burial in Anderson Memorial Park.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
