Donald Wayne "Marble" Leisure, 75, resident of Daleville, passed away May 14, 2017, at his residence peacefully surrounded by friends and family.
He was born July 15, 1941, in Grant City, the son of Lloyd and Velma (Edwards) Leisure.
He attended Charlottesville High School and retired from General Motors in 1998 after 35 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Helen J. (Craig) of Daleville; son, Anthony McPheron (Megan) of Yorktown; daughter, Tanya Heckaman (Mark) of Pendleton; brother, Kenneth Leisure of Carthage; sisters, Donna Oakes (Dave) of Greenfield and Judy Browning of Knightstown; one grandchild, Amanda Moore of Pendleton; two great-grandchildren, McKinley and Kaylee Moore of Pendleton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday at noon at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 S. Walnut St., Daleville, with Pastor David Oakes officiating. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, Daleville.
Friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has requested those attending come in casual attire.
