Donna Mae (Ramsey) Platt 78, resident of Daleville, passed away April 10, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1938, in Gwynneville, Ind., the daughter of Robert and Marian (Havens) Ramsey.
She was a graduate of Morristown High School and was a homemaker most of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne Eugene of Daleville; son, Perry (Cindy) Platt; daughter, Patty (Chris) Amschler; sisters, Carol Caudall and Norma Wells; grandchildren, Franklin (Heather) Platt, Rebecca Mullins, Zachary Prilaman, Christian (Greg) Huddleston, Joe (Jennie) Amschler, James (Christina) Amschler, and Laura Amschler; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marian Ramsey; son, Jerry L. Platt; siblings, Doris (Gene) Daniel and James (Polly) Ramsey; and brothers-in-law, Thomas Caudall and Quinton Wells.
Friends may call on Friday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 S. Walnut St., Daleville.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, Ind., west of Rushville on US 52.
