Edward C. Paille, 91, of Anderson, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017.
He was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Decatur to the late Jacob and Georgia (Slusher) Paille. Ed was a U.S. Army veteran who retired from Delco-Remy after 30 years' service. He was a member of the UAW Local 662.
In his early retirement years Ed loved to travel to Mission, Texas, where he and his wife Dorothy would spend the winter. He enjoyed boating and waterskiing. Ed loved dogs.
He is survived by daughters, Elaine (Del) Pigg, Rita (Eugene Buck) Lowe and Joyce (Brad) Taylor, all of Anderson; grandchildren, Chad (Traci) Pigg, Rob and Ryan Geer, Troy (Amy) Pressnall, Misty (Mike) Staton, Amber (Iain) McGregor; great-grandchildren, Sammy, Alaina, Diamond, Graham, Nicholas, Ava, Jeremy, Dallas, Natalie, Emma, Grace and Grant.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 2004 and brothers, William and Robert.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville, with visitation from noon until the time of service. Burial will take place at Pleasant Walk Cemetery in Anderson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal St., Anderson, IN 46012.
