Elizabeth A. Imel, 80, of Pendleton, passed away on March 4, 2017, at Countryside Manor Health and Living Community, Anderson.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1937, and resided most of her life in Pendleton.
She worked as a newspaper carrier for The Herald Bulletin for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Ovid Community Church, and she was very active in the Deaf Community as a translator to her friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Nancy (companion, Lonny Hook) O'Bryant, John (Diana) Imel, and Rebecca (Robb) Beard; siblings, Joanna Yount, David Richardson, and Rosemary Richardson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Imel; daughter, Debbie Folk; son, Raymond Imel; and parents, Louis "Bud" and Phyllis Pearl Richardson.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ovid Community Church, 793 E. 600S, Anderson.
Services will be at noon Friday at the church with the Rev. Keith Wooden officiating. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ovid Community Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
