Fredric's Story

Text size

Fred Zuck died on March 4, his 74th birthday, of complications from surgery.
He was born and raised in Anderson, IN, was a proud graduate of Wabash College and a skilled CPA. For all his achievements, Fred's greatest accomplishment was the positive effect he had on others. His wit, humor, passion for learning, enthusiasm for new experiences and his good nature enriched the lives of his friends and relatives. He was courageously tenacious about conquering every challenge he faced. He will be sorely missed, but the memories of his presence, and that unique smile, will forever linger in the memories of all who knew him. His life left the world a better place.
Fred is survived by his devoted wife, Sue (Indianapolis); and loving sister, Michele (Anderson) along with numerous dear relatives including his in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins (Indiana, Wisconsin, California and Virginia) and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations: Indiana Repertory Theatre, Nature Conservancy of Indiana, and Wabash College Alumni Fund.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Casual dress, no ties! Gravesite burial service will be held at noon Sunday (EDT - remember the time change on Sunday), Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, US-136, Waynetown, IN 47990.
