Gregory Allen "Greg" Talmage, New Port Richey, Fla., and formerly of Anderson, passed away Sept. 23, 2017, at his home after a courageous fight with cancer.
Greg retired from the post office after 30 years.
He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves and a 1968 graduate of Anderson High School.
Greg loved fishing, boating and was an avid golfer spending a large amount of time playing his favorite game with his golfing buddies when he wasn't working at the golf course.
Survivors include wife and best friend of 45 years, Linda; sons, Te Jay (Kelly) of Missouri, and Greg Talmage of Tennessee; the highlight of his life his grandson, Jackson of Tennessee; mother, Edna (Glenn Maynard) Eutsler; sisters, Becky Sharpe, Mary Siefert, and Marka (Ron) Leonard, all of Anderson, and SueAnn (Greg) Ripka of Florida; brother-in-law, Tony (Joanne) Smith, Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Jess Talmage; in-laws, Robert and Mildred Smith; brother, Monte Talmage; and brothers-in-law, Michael and Bobby Smith.
Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
