Imogene (Alexander) Walls, 86, of Frankton, passed away on April 11, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1930, in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Frankton.
She was a devoted homemaker.
She was a founding member of Westside Holiness Tabernacle, which later became Memorial Circle Wesleyan Church. She was a member of Parkview Church of the Nazarene. She loved to work in her flowers, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
Imogene is survived by her children, DuWayne (Bonnie) Walls, David (Rosie) Walls, and Donna Jean (Meredith) Gafford; siblings, Charlotte Mills, Donald (Shirley) Alexander, Ron (Ginger) Alexander, and Dan (Linda) Alexander; uncle, John (Elsie) Fuller; and grandchildren, Lee (Tasha) Walls, Jeff (Laura) Walls, Danielle (John) Freed, Joshua (Kristina) Walls, Micah (Laura) Walls, Michelle Gafford (fiancé Phillip), and Sara Lynn Gafford; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Donald E. Walls; siblings, Wilford Alexander Jr., and Sarah Delores Ebert; mother, Hilda Alexander; and her father, Wilford Alexander Sr.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with her grandson, the Rev. John Freed, and her brother, the Rev. Dan Alexander officiating. Burial will take place in the K of P I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Frankton.
