James A. Blaylock, 72, Anderson, passed away Feb. 27, 2017, at his residence. He was born Dec. 19, 1944, in Anderson and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He was a manager at Southdale K-Mart and then a mechanic for 30-plus years. He attended Kingdom Hall of Anderson.
He loved automobiles, especially red Corvettes, racing at Anderson Speedway, horticulture and his two special dogs, BJ and Little Bit, who meant the world to him. He was very friendly and enjoyed spending time and chatting with people regardless of how long he'd known them.
James is survived by his mother; three sons; one daughter; two sisters; three grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation will take place.

James will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
