Joann Carol Myers, 54, passed away at home after an extended illness on Aug. 2, 2017. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Feb. 23, 1963, to Roy and Rita (Douphitt) Beal.
Joann attended Delta schools and lived most of her life in the Muncie area. She was head of transportation at a rubber company in Muncie and most recently was a turf installer for Quest Turf.
Joann's grandchildren were a whole lot of her life. She and Jack enjoyed spending time together, traveling and working together. They attended South Meridian Church of God.
Left to treasure Joann's memory is her husband of 36 years, Jack; sons, Brad (fiance, Maggie Redmon) Myers and Matthew Myers; grandchildren, Alyssa Myers, Cora Myers, Laila Myers, Kaisean Reed, Keagan Redmon, Madison Kinnett and Aubrey Myers; mother, Rita Beal; siblings, Roy (Cheri) Beal Jr., Beverly Gregory, Sue (Doug) Ritter, Kay (Bob) Tuck, Jane Beal and Donald (Loralee) Beal; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dan McKenzie.
Preceding Joann in death was her father, Roy Beal; nephew, Eric Nolte; and niece, Marie Jefferson.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Cemetery in Eaton with Pastor Ed Hyatt presiding. Visitation is two hours prior. Burial will immediately follow the service.
