Karla Mae (Crim) Mahla, 71, of Anderson, died April 12, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born July 29, 1945, in Anderson, the daughter of James D. and Mary B. (Marshall) Crim. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1963. She was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Mahla, whom she married April 8, 2006; daughter, Shannan L. (Wayne) Bush; three stepchildren, Roger Mahla, Nikki Mahla and Christy (Lucky Maynard) Mahla; two grandchildren, Alexis and Logan Bush; sister, Linda L. Jones; brother, Claris (Barbara) Schuyler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; her brother, Donald Schuyler; and her sister, Janet Brattain.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor John Hackney officiating. Private burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service.
