She spent her later years working in the cafeteria of Community Hospital Anderson, where she was loved by all who knew her.
Kathie is survived by her children, Donita (Wayne) Drake of Eaton, Jacob (Amanda) King of Maryville, Tennessee, and JoAnna (Christopher) Moore of Galveston, whom she shared with former spouse Donald King. Survivors also include her grandson, Malachi Moore; granddaughter, Vala Moore; brothers, Mike Saunders and Paul Bruce; sister, Evelyn Brown; lifelong friend and cousin, Bernard Williams; daughter-in-love Cynthia Neff; and sister-in-love, Patricia King.
