ANDERSON [mdash] Kevin Ray Stohler, 60, of Anderson passed away June 9, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born March 22, 1957, in Anderson.
He was retired but previously spent many years as a volunteer fireman for Chesterfield Fire Department and held many other positions, including being a nurse and mechanic. He was a jack of all trades and master of none.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Stohler; mother, Mary Jo (Philbert) Stohler; children, Martie (Chris) Edwards, Melanie (Brian) Brady, Megan Stohler, Jonathan Stohler; grandchildren, Kegan Stohler, Alexis Edwards, Gabrielle Brady, Ethan Brady, Landis Stohler, Madison Brady, Lyric Edwards, Mason Brady, Houston Edwards, Jewel Edwards; great-grandson, Gavin Kelly; siblings, Warren (Debbie) Stohler, Michael (Yvette) Stohler and JoDene (John) Wingate; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mary Anne Stohler and Sheri Bennett, and his special cat, Fat Boy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Stohler.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the funeral home with the Rev. Loyce Webb officiating.
Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
