Larry LeRoy Merrill, 79, of Anderson, passed away on April 27, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on March 4, 1938, in Muncie, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He previously worked for Howell Fire Trucks for 15 years and was owner/operator of Anderson's Best Exteriors. He was also an ordained minister of the Apostolic Faith
He was a member of First Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar and building things.
Larry is survived by his children, Beth (Eddie) Harris, Jeanna Merrill, Jeff Merrill and Penny (Patrick) Gatton; siblings, Wilbur (Lettie) Merrill, Fred (Virginia) Merrill, Mary (Bob) Zachary, Beverly Thompson; grandchildren, Cody Merrill, Cassandra Gatton, Alexis Gatton, and Mitchell Gatton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madonna Merrill; parents, Ernest and Mary Jane Merrill; granddaughters, Cristy Robinson and Courtney Gatton; siblings, Raymond Merrill, Tom Merrill, Don Merrill and Betty Hathcoat.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at First Pentecostal Church, 630 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church with Pastor Luke St.Clair officiating. Burial will take place in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
