Lee R. Curry, 75, Anderson, passed away, Dec. 27, 2016, at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born in Switzerland County, Indiana, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Lee graduated from Vevay High School.
He was retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors as an engineer working 43 years.
He was a member of the American Legion.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1960 to 1964.
Lee is survived by his wife, Carolyn "Carol" (Reed) Curry of Anderson; son, Michael Curry of Anderson; daughter Jennifer Jo Curry of Muncie; goddaughter, Becky (Chris) Smith of Anderson; one brother, Arnold (Ruth) Curry of Hanover, Indiana; two sisters, Hazel Wilkerson of Madison, Indiana, and Dianna (Roy) Davis of Hanover; a granddaughter, Ireland Mae Curry, and godgranddaughter, Chloe Smith. Lee is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Loretta Curry; and a brother-in-law, Fred Wilkerson.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Visitation will also be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan-Nay Funeral Centre, Madison, Indiana.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan-Nay Funeral Centre in Madison, with Kevin Davis officiating.
Burial will take place in the Brooksburg Cemetery, Madison, where military rites will be given.
