Loretta Elaine Brizendine, 81, loving wife, mom and grandma passed away on April 14, 2017, at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on June 5, 1935, in Albion, Illinois.
She was a homemaker and a member of Madison Park Church of God, Victoria Guild, PTA, Operation Love and volunteered many hours at St. John's Hospital.
Elaine is survived by her loving spouse, James Brizendine, whom she married June 19, 1953; children, Donald Brizendine of Denver, Colorado, Marta (Rob) Johnson, of Pendleton, Mark (Joanne) Brizendine, of Pendleton; brother, Wayne Guyot; grandchildren, Nathan, Miriam and Sarah Brizendine, Erica (Morgan) von Lohr, Sean (Samantha) and Jordan Johnson and Aaron and Austin Brizendine; great-grandchildren, Lily and Lainey von Lohr.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Mary Rosalie (Judge) Guyot; and brother, Ray Guyot.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Brizendine officiating.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
