Lowell J McLaughlin, 85, of Anderson, passed away July 13, 2017, at his residence in Anderson. He was born June 20, 1932 in Aroma.
Lowell graduated from Pendleton High School.
He retired from Guide Lamp in Anderson where he worked as a machinist. He also worked at Pendleton Reformatory where he ran the milk barn.
He was a member of UAW Local 42.
Lowell is survived by his three sons, Randy (Jolene) McLaughlin of Anderson, Tony (Karen) McLaughlin of Missouri and Danny (Donna) McLaughlin of Missouri; brother, John McLaughlin of Floriday; six grandchildren, Brittani (Brian) Pomeroy, Oregon, Melissa (Adam) Greer, Missouri, Jodi (Paul) Mitchell, Missouri, Erin (Reid) Lacey, Noblesville, Jami Johnson of Anderson and Heath (Christina) McLaughlin, Arizona; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orris McLaughlin; mother, Marjorie (Remington) Green; wife, Carolyn McLaughlin; and two sisters, Judy Caldwell and Barbara Jones.
Graveside Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson Memorial Park with Pastor Brad Smith officiating.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
