Marilyn M. Dauss, 88, of Anderson, passed away Feb. 27, 2017, at the Lindberg Crossing, Anderson.
She was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Fort Wayne, and resided most of her life in Fort Wayne.
Marilyn graduated from Concordia Lutheran High in Fort Wayne.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Anderson, and a former longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. Marilyn and seven of her friends formed a club in the third grade called the C.K.U. (Can't Kid Us) club. The club met monthly for nearly 75 years.
Marilyn is survived by her son, James (Linda) Dauss of Chesterfield; son, Michael (Amy) Dauss of Anderson; sister, Eileen Stuntz of Virginia; four grandchildren, Meridith Yochim, Andrew Dauss, Ryan Dauss, and Matthew Dauss; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dauss; mother, Luella Rippe; father, John Rippe; son, William Dauss; sister, Carol Mattix; and a brother, Robert Rippe.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Concordia Cemetery Gardens Chapel, 5300 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with Pastor John Jameson officiating. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Chapel in Fort Wayne.
Burial will take place in the Concordia Memorial Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Anderson, Ind., or Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
