Martha E. (Cobb) Moore, 80, of Anderson passed away May 27, 2017, at Monticello House.
She was born April 10, 1937, in Dugger, Indiana, the daughter of Joe and Bonita (Drury) Cobb.
She graduated in 1955 from Anderson High School. She and her high school sweetheart, Ralph Moore, Jr. were married Sept. 6, 1958. She worked as a legal secretary, worked in Anderson City Court and managed Spring House Associates (a Gaither Company). She was a member of Ovid Community Church for over 40 years.
She was an avid reader, a devoted wife, mother, a cherished grandmother and friend. She loved the beach, cooking and playing bridge. She was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Moore Jr. and their three children, Alison and Doug Shook, Brian and Nancy (Flatt) Moore and Bradley and Kathleen (Phipps) Moore; her grandchildren, Ethan Shook and Kryn Luhmann and Lauren Shook, Nathaniel Moore, Jacob and Clarissa Moore; her siblings, Beverly Cobb, Garry and Billie Cobb, Don and Brenda Cobb, Sharlene and Dave Bott, Susie Farnsworth, Alan and Sherry Cobb, Joey and Cheryl Cobb; and many nieces and nephews.
Martha's family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Monticello House, as well as Providence, for the wonderful care that they gave to her.
Visitation will be at Loose Funeral Home. 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
