Miriam Alice Feight Lawson, 96, died at Keystone Woods, Anderson, Feb. 17, 2017. Miriam was born in Frankton on Feb. 28, 1920, where she resided her entire life.
She graduated Frankton High School in 1938. She married the love of her life, Oscar ("Brownie") Lawson, on April 28, 1941, and they cherished each other for over 59 years. She was a longtime faithful member of Grace Baptist Church, Anderson. She was employed by Guide Lamp (a division of General Motors) for over 35 years.
Miriam is survived by her son, David (Cynthia) Lawson, of Hayward, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Rene' Lawson of Frankton and Sean Lawson and great-grandson, Elias Lawson, both of Denver, Colorado; sister Doris Webb and brother Jack Feight, both of Frankton; brother Bob (Edna) Feight, of Anderson; and sister Dorothy Closser of Carmel.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Brownie Lawson; brother, Richard Feight; sister, Marjorie Legg; and sisters Naomi Pearcy and Jane Brown.
Funeral service celebrating Mariam's life will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton with Pastor Doug Stein. Burial will follow at K of P and IOOF cemetery in Frankton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
