Peter "Pete" J. Priddy, 70, resident of Middletown, passed away April 19, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 20, 1947, in Anderson, the son of Jack Noyse and Mary Karel Hopkins Priddy.
He was a 1965 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from General Motors in Anderson after 40 years of service. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 662 and volunteered with the Jefferson Township/Sulphur Springs Fire Department and Middletown Fire Department.
He loved collecting and selling farm toys and was owner/operator with Pete's Excavating.
Survivors are his wife, Liz of Middletown; daughter, Angela (Rob) Fox of Anderson; five grandchildren, Ashley Fox, Aubrey Fox and Alivia Fox, Christopher and Shaun Priddy; father-in-law: Phillip Ambs; and special friends, Richard Russell and Bill Harrison.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and mother-in-law, Joyce Ambs.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday until the time of the services.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County EMS, Sulphur Springs/Jefferson Township Fire Department and the Middletown/Fall Creek Township Fire Department.
