Robert S. Kissane, 74, of Marion, passed away Feb. 20, 2017, at Marion General Hospital in Marion.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1942, in New Castle.
He was a self-employed roofer for many years.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Rafael) Alvizures of Alexandria; three sons, Matthew Kissane of Middletown, Steven Kissane of Alexandria, and David (Cleo) Javera of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two brothers, William L. (Mariyln) Kissane of Marion and George Kissane of Anderson; two sisters, Esther (Buddy) Durbin of Knobel, Ark., and Grace (Don) Gilliatt of Noblesville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, James E. Kissane; mother, Olive Kissane; three brothers, Michael Kissane, James A. Kissane, and Douglas Kissane; and two sisters, Rose Morse and Belinda Middendorf.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Community Church, 1010 N. Park Ave., Alexandria.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at the church with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating.
Cremation will take place.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
