Ronald E. Terhune, 76, Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017, in the Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle following an extended illness.
He was born on March 25, 1941, in Alexandria to Lester Hague and Bernice Terhune. He lived in Alexandria for more than 60 years. Ronald had worked at Allen Turkey Farm and Rinker Family Farms. He was employed at the former John-Manville Corporation for 13 years. He was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Elwood. Ronald and his late brother Robert were loyal and avid supporters of Alexandria Tiger Basketball. They rarely missed any of the games.
He is survived by a daughter, a stepdaughter, three granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special four-legged friend, Dynamite.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father; his mother; his stepfather, Richard Scarberry; his twin brother, Robert Terhune; and his sister, Sonja Wyatt.
Funeral services for Ronald will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 North Harrison St., Alexandria, with the Rev. Richard Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call at the Noffze Funeral Home after 1 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the services.
