Ruth E. Hale, 96, of Pendleton, passed away Feb. 24, 201, at Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born on Feb. 28, 1920, in New Albany, Indiana.
She retired as a saleslady from Wickens Shoes in Anderson.
She was a member of Southdale Church of the Nazarene in Anderson.
Ruth is survived by her son, Dick (Joan) Hale of Sebring, Fla.; son, Ronnie (companion Helen) Hale of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter, Pam (Dan) Speelman of Titusville, Fla.; son Jamey (Cheryl) Hale of Pendleton; brother, Bill (Joan) Hedges of Florida; sister-in-law, Jody (Earl) Bowman of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Hedges; mother, Edna Hedges; husband, James Hale; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Southdale Church of the Nazarene in Anderson.
