Ruth Anna Ohnheiser, 98, Middletown, passed away Dec. 24, 2016, at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.
She was born in Henry County, Oct. 11, 1918, the daughter of Harry and Marguerite Rutherford Crim.
She had been a homemaker, a bookkeeper for Henry County Memorial Hospital and co-owner with her husband of Middletown Cleaners. She had also worked at the Henry County Treasurer's office for many years.
She was a 1936 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and belonged to three area bridge clubs. She attended the Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Al in 1984; son, James; stepson, Joe; and grandson, James Strough.
Survivors are her daughter, Judy Koger, Middletown; two stepsons, Tony and Damon Ohnheiser; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special niece, Catherine Reno, New Castle.
A Celebration of her life will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown, with Pastor Dennis Hilton officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.
