Theresa Strangeway, 63, of Gaston, passed away March 20, 2017, at IU Health/Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
She was born Dec. 4, 1953, in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Gaston.
Theresa graduated from Pendleton Heights High School.
She was retired from working in the health care field for several years.
She loved to quilt and was involved in various quilting organizations. She was a former member of Job's Daughters.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Bruce Strangeway of Gaston; children, Shane and Shannon Strangeway of Gaston; sister, Krista (Bruce) Burns-Corn of Anderson; and grandchildren, Seth and Serinity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester "Louie" and Virginia Burns.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Klinger officiating. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
