Timothy G. Pierce, 59, of Alexandria, passed away April 17, 2017, at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born Dec. 4, 1957, in Elwood and resided most of his life in Alexandria.
Timothy graduated from Alexandria High School, Class of 1976.
He served his country in the United States Air Force.
He was a member of Lutheran Church of our Blessed Savior in Alexandria, where he served as the sound technician and past president of the congregation.
Timothy is survived by his son, Darreck Pierce of Huntington; mother, Marilyn Pierce of Alexandria; two brothers, Brian (Cathy) Pierce of Bloomfield and Bill (Julie) Pierce of Anderson; two sisters, Brenda Widelski of Muncie and Linda (Vernon) Draper of Muncie. Timothy is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lendel G. Pierce; son Daniel Pierce; and his grandparents.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Blessed Savior Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Pastor Kal Rissman officiating.
Cremation will take place.
Services have been entrusted to Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Blessed Savior Lutheran Church in Alexandria, or the Heavens Wearhouse, through the church.
